It’s official: Microsoft is making Office 365, its cloud service, the way it delivers desktop software.
You can now install Office 2016 for Windows and Mac from Office 365 and, in doing so, create a OneDrive for Business account with 1 TB of personal cloud storage, accessible from anywhere, that syncs with your PC or Mac for offline access.
Please note: OneDrive for Business (the Microsoft cloud storage behind Office 365 applications) is not approved for use with critical and restricted university data at this time, but can be used for public or university-internal data. While there are no approved cloud storage options for critical data, you may use Box with Box Entrusted Data Accounts for storing restricted data and Box Health Accounts for storing HIPAA-protected data. You may also use other IU-hosted services for critical data storage.
