Beginning February 2, 2017, all IU employees and faculty will be required to use Duo, or Two-Step Login, when logging into many IU sites through CAS (see twostep.iu.edu for more information). This system provides added security when accessing IU systems, and protects all of us from incidents such as those that already have caused serious financial loss for some members of the IU community.
To help with this transition UITS is presenting a training workshop, “Duo Face to Face,” which will be held in C127 on December 9th from 10 AM to 1 PM. This date will be held in collaboration with ITG, so both UITS and ITG personnel will be present to answer your questions about this new system.
The workshop is in an open house format, so you may attend any time from 10 to 1 for as long as you like. If you are unable to attend on this date, other dates and locations are available and listed at itnews.iu.edu/events/face-to-face-support-for-two-step-login.php.

In recent weeks, Indiana University rolled out Two-Step Login for all IU staff and faculty. We even sent out a special edition Monitor to explain the ins and outs.
Are you still wondering what it’s all about and not sure whether you’ve signed up properly? Still have some burning questions? Then come and talk to somebody face to face.
UITS is coordinating events to give people at IU Bloomington and IUPUI the opportunity to learn more about keeping their IU account secure.
Those at regional campuses are encouraged to contact their local Support Center to arrange one-on-one assistance.
