A big change is coming to K2 Workflow, a SharePoint Online application, and we want to give you plenty of time to prepare.
As you are likely aware IU has been evaluating its software and licensing cost, with K2 pricing increasing and similar functionality available with our current O365 licensing IU has begun migrating all K2 Workflows to O365 equivalent solutions by March 2021 [1]. At that time, the decommission of K2 will begin, with K2 being fully retired in June 2021.
To prepare for this retirement, we recommend that you:
- Stop developing new workflows in K2
- Start researching alternatives now. If you are K2 developer, immediately evaluate if your workflows can be removed (ieno longer in use). If your workflows are still in use migrate your work flows to O365 solutions [2].
- Review tips on removing your unused workflows in this KB [3].
- Please watch for a survey to follow allowing us to track who is fully migrated to O365.
While this change is 6 months away, we wanted to alert you as early as possible so that you can better prepare.
